Hey there, my name is Ross and I’m the author of this blog. When I was 9 my parents gave me a Capsela set which I was supposed to use to build a boat, or a crane, or something. Instead I created a telegraph using tape, and stereo wire. No I’m not McGyver,  I’ve just always been interested in how small and simple objects can become marvelous and revealing when connected in just the right way.

flash forward…

Many people today are concerned by the massive amounts of data we are constantly generating. Personally I’m thrilled, the more data the better. Sure there will be noise,  but most important is that there are countless discoveries waiting to be made using data that’s in plain sight. We simply need to work together to connect it in just the right way.

Most of the content you’ll find on this website is rooted in software, data, and technology.  I have also recently founded a software company so there are bound to be posts about the life of a startup.

My expertise and interests are in:

  • Data Integration
